Promising type who has won two from four; dominated the opposition again last time and with similar tactics likely to be applied here he is taken to complete the hat-trick; drawn to attack so what’s not to like?
The Aussie NAP is chasing four wins in a row and we stick with the bang in-form FAMILY STAR for our best bet on Thursday. He is chasing three in a row and with a low draw and early speed he should get on the front and dominate again. He is a standout in this field. Battle Cry is the danger but he’ll need to be fit as a fiddle to cope with the favourite. Last seen 131 days ago but the yard are firing so one to note if money comes. Hard to see anything else troubling the selection.

Race 5 Wellington 5.45 Bit Of A Beauty (13/8)
Back to winning ways when prevailing by a head at Tamworth last month; denied a nose at Muswellbrook last time in testing ground; gets some weight relief today and has leading claims of getting back to the winners enclosure.
This looks to revolve around BIT OF A BEAUTY for Brett Cavanough and Brodie Loy. She is a filly heading in the right direction and was only edged out late in the day last time. She races off 55.5kg today (58.5kg last time) so will find this easier and her positive tactics can pay dividends once more. Bengalla Bay will find this much easier than at Newcastle last time so comes into the reckoning. Probably the main danger. Epic Decision can’t be ignored either as he is too well drawn to ignore.
