Race 5 Morphettville 5.20 Lombardo (5/6)
Promising young horse who made a winning debut at Bendigo in February and has caught the eye in defeat the last twice; this easier and gets blinkers now so should help him focus and return to winning ways.
Sticking with LOMBARDO in Race 5 at Morphettville. This horse has plenty more to come and has been highly tried since winning on debut. He is expected to have too much class for these as he looks to make it two wins from his first four starts. The blinkers will help him channel his energy in the right direction and he is a strong fancy to come away with the prize. Lake’s Folly is the logical danger having gone down narrowly last time but Eluding is respected too if he improves again.

Race 1 Flemington 2.35 Prezado (6/4)
Thriving right now chasing a C&D hat-trick here; likes to get settled back early before thundering home and no reason why it won’t be the same outcome again here; looks the most likely winner so worth siding with.
We head to Flemington for our Next Best on Saturday and the red-hot PREZADO looks a good bet to complete the C&D hat-trick. Very much horses for courses and I think he can repeat the trick here. From Within will give it a good go off the front but I’ll be surprised if she has enough to hold off the favourite, who will be finishing fast. Spirit Of Aquada was a danger before the scratching. Kenyan Wonder might be a bit of value to run a place as she is better than what she showed last time.
