Talented filly who was very impressive winning a Listed race at Newbury in soft ground in June last year; highly tried since and far from disgraced in defeat; class act in this field and should have no problem making a winning return.
The NAP is on a tough run at the moment and it’s not good enough from us so hopefully we can start a fresh week on a high and head to Pontefract. ANTONIA DE VEGA is hard to oppose here. She is the class act in the field and goes well fresh so should have these covered. Ralph Beckett has his team in good order so that’s another positive too. The likes of Bighearted and Specialise should ensure this is run at a good clip and she should be finishing best. At a bigger price it wouldn’t surprise me if Eva Maria hit the frame.

Goodwood 1.10 Treacherous (11/8)
Looked useful winning twice at Kempton in January before excuses at Wolverhampton; good second from his lower turf mark at Haydock a week ago and strong claims of going one better with that under his belt and SDS in the saddle.
I thought TREACHEROUS shaped well when second to Shady McCoy at Haydock last week and a mark of 75 looks well within reach on turf given he is now rated 90 on the AW. If he builds on that first run for 93 days then he has to go close. The speed figures suggest he is bang there! Desert Land finally made the breakthrough at Lingfield 9 days ago and should remain competitive switched to turf. Probably the main danger up 3lb. Pettochside is likely but isn’t getting any younger now aged 11. Should run his race though.
