Race 5 Belmont 8.29 Morning Breez (6/5)
Useful type who ran well when second over this trip here on dirt last time; should strip fitter for that run given it was his first since February; this easier so obvious chance of getting his head back in front.
No Tiz The Law tonight but still a confident selection for you running over at Belmont. MORNING BREEZ looks a good bet to go one better in Race 5 on the card. He ran a cracker on return when second on the dirt here last time and if stepping forward from that will take a bit of beating here on the turf. He has some strong form in the book and this doesn’t look overly competitive so he is the most likely winner for me. Speightful Kitten would come into it if it switches to the main track.

Race 7 Santa Anita 11.33 Big Sweep (11/8)
Unbeaten filly who has looked good on both starts; impressed with her professionalism on debut when challenged and again showed a great attitude to pull out more last time; improving with racing so obvious chance of landing the hat-trick.
The Next Best runs at Santa Anita on Sunday night and BIG SWEEP is taken to remain unbeaten. She looks a filly on the up and has done well to win both her starts to date. She has shaped as though the step up in trip can bring about further improvement so definitely one to keep on side. I’d probably put forward Smiling Shirlee as the main danger as she is also chasing a hat-trick after impressing last time. I just think the selection is open to greater improvement so gets the vote.
