Useful type who recorded his fifth career win swooping late over 1250m here earlier this month; inside draw so should secure a decent position and can repeat the dose with plenty of early speed engaged; well placed to follow up.
This looks a good opportunity for SILENT EXPLORER to make it back-to-back course wins. He is a useful individual who looked good winning here last time. The step up in trip won’t inconvenience him and he appeals as the most likely winner again. Short price but with good reason! Via Balciano keeps knocking on the door since winning over C&D in April and should give the selection most to think about. The fav is hard to oppose though and should get the job done with a clear run through.

Race 4 Kembla Grange 5.05 Triskana (4/5)
Looked to need the experience on debut but improved a chunk to finish second at Goulburn last time, only beaten narrowly at the line; plenty of scope so should improve and rates the one to beat in this line up; keep on side.
The improving TRISKANA looks to have been found a good opportunity to make the breakthrough for team Waterhouse. She is a promising filly who caught the eye when second at Goulburn last time. With that run under her belt she can step forward and prove too good here. It will be disappointing if she doesn’t open her account. Hard to pinpoint an exact danger but Librarian has shown ability and if continuing to progress will pose some sort of a threat but fav likely to hold all the answers.
