Ran well all four starts to date and went close again last time having been slowly away finishing second at Sale; shaped as though a step up to this trip would prove ideal and this looks a great chance for him to get off the mark.
Sticking with RESOLUTE LAD here as I think there’s more to come especially over this trip. He is improving gradually and should have too much for these from a low gate. He can secure a good early position before finishing best. Themagicneverends is probably the main danger as he ran well at Cranbourne and again was in the money when third over track and trip. It looks between the top two with the favourite a confident selection. Delegated can chase the front pair home as she is better than what she showed latest.

Race 4 Dubbo 4.00 Entreat (2/1)
Chased home Danebrook at Scone last time and her turn looks imminent; nothing wrong with her attitude despite finishing second three times from five runs; improving all the time and with usual luck in-running looks sure to go close again.
This looks a good opportunity for ENTREAT to make the breakthrough for Cameron Crockett and Adrian Layt. She has run five promising races to date placing four times and with further improvement to come can get off the mark. This looks desperately weak to me and connections will be disappointed if she can’t make the most of a good opportunity. 2/1 seems generous! It’s A Possibility ran well at Tamworth last time and looks the obvious danger. Lacks the experience of the favourite though.
