Useful sort who has won his last two and comes here in great form; won by over 5 lengths at the line last time so hard to get away from if turning up in the same form; hat-trick surely beckons? Looks the most likely winner.
We head to Carnarvon for the Aussie NAP on Sunday morning and the old boy DANEFIN is taken to land the hat-trick here. He has been in great form and looks hard to get away from in another winnable race. He has rarely ventured over this far so will need to prove he stays but if he does he’ll win. He keeps the claim for a form 2kg apprentice which is another notable positive. Short price but with good reason! Big Blows the only danger in my eyes. Won over 1400m here last time but fav should be too good.

Race 1 Grafton 3.40 Paris Crystal (1/1)
Smart mare who is untried over this far but has been in good form lately finishing third at Kilcoy and then backing that up with a second at Ipswich last time; can improve again and looks to have a top chance in this field.
Fancy PARIS CRYSTAL to go one better here with Ben Looker booked for the ride. She was only beaten narrowly last time and with further gains likely should be hard to beat. That’s reflected in her price. She has never raced over this far but shapes as though she’ll get it and should be winning. Eliabella is improving so has to be feared in opposition. Expiredtime has some decent form in the book but needs to bounce back, should be in the mix if doing so too.
