Race 5 Northam 8.02 Forgotten Jewel (8/11)
Smart type who has won both starts to date; always doing just enough to score by a neck at Belmont Park last time and can improve again so strongly fancied to land the hat-trick; extra yardage ideal and versatile in regards to tactics.
There looks a fair bit of pace on here and that should suit FORGOTTEN JEWEL for Lindsey Smith. He has looked a serious improver in two runs to date and can make it three in a row and remain unbeaten. He was on the speed last time and was always getting on top. He can just track them through here and it might suit him better. The harder they go the better I think ultimately. Goku is another one suited by this trip so should chase the selection home if stepping forward again.

Race 4 Moree 6.05 Halcyon House (11/8)
Promising type who has won two of his last four and was back to winning ways at Muswellbrook earlier this month; this represents a step up but clearly going the right way and looks hard to oppose again.
Fancy the progressive HALCYON HOUSE to make it three wins from his last five starts. Did it well last time and while this is another step up he looks to have scope to keep improving and I see no reason why he won’t go close again. Looks a big improver! Boomshake The Room has won his last two so has to be feared. Only one win from eleven starts over this trip though so possibly better over further. Still rates the main danger to the selection. Chevron Prince also certainly no back number in what looks a good race.
