THE AUSSIE NAP WON AGAIN ON THURSDAY AND RUNS IN RACE 5 AT ROCKHAMPTON ON FRIDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Rockhampton 5.34 Charles Seven (10/11)
Clearly done well physically since last run four months ago as won impressively over C&D on return, dictating throughout; more to come with that under his belt and worth keeping firmly on side; sure to go well.
Ex-Godolphin gelding CHARLES SEVEN justified strong support on return winning impressively over track and trip. He looked a cut above them and with the promise of more to come is extremely hard to get away from again here. He has a wide gate but has the ability to overcome it. I have no doubt Ryan Wiggins will push forward and try and boss them off the front. El Prados also likes to race handily so should keep him honest. Aleysa’s Miracle is probably the main danger off that win here last time.

Race 9 Dubbo 7.55 Jawwaal (5/4)
Consistent sort who fluffed the start last time and did well to get as close as he did; tricky gate but easier opposition and will look to get settled in the early stages before coming with a strong late run (hopefully a winning one).
This looks a great opportunity for JAWWAAL to get in the winners enclosure. He has the strongest form on offer and comes here in good order. He was unlucky last time given how much ground he gave away at the start and if he builds on that again it’s hard to see how he’ll get beat. He might need a bit of luck in running given his style of closing late but if he finds the gaps then he should take this out. Chamermaid won easily at Tamworth before a break and is probably the main threat to the selection. Also drawn out wide!
