Race 8 Rosehill 7.15 Tailleur (11/10)
Promising mare who won her first two starts before racing wide without cover on a wet track at Randwick last month; improving all the time and fitter now so should make it three wins from four; tough to oppose.
Looking forward to seeing TAILLEUR out again for James Cummings and Kerrin McEvoy. She has looked one to follow in three starts to date and has a good attitude for the job. She just bumped into one on a wet track last time and this looks easier so she should make it three wins from just four starts. Best Stone will likely lead and is the danger and she is likely to track her through from a wide draw before proving strongest at the finish. Past the front pair it’s hard to see anything else getting involved, lacks strength in depth.

Race 2 Belmont 5.22 Pletto (6/4)
Won three of her last five now and clearly on the upgrade; came from well back to win over track and trip last time; versatile regarding tactics which is a huge plus; undoubtedly the one to beat again.
We head to Belmont in the early hours of Saturday morning for our second best bet Down Under and PLETTO should take care of this bunch. She looked better than ever last time and a similar performance looks assured. Don’s Legacy and I’m Icey are probably the pair to force the pace but Granrandell, Semigel and Bedouin Belle can all race handily too. I can see the favourite just tucking in behind and she should have a good target to run down in the closing stages. Sea War looks the danger as has been trialling well lately.
