NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT WOLVERHAMPTON ON MONDAY EVENING!
Wolverhampton 5.15 State Occasion (10/11)
Promising filly who shaped with credit on debut at Ascot, probably needing the experience; stepped forward to finish a closing third at Doncaster last time; should be more streetwise now and can improve again so the one to beat.
I’m expecting STATE OCCASION to open her account here for Ralph Beckett. She has looked promising in two runs to date and looks the one to beat in this contest. The step up in trip should help her come into her own as her stamina will come into play over the extra yardage. She is clear on speed figures so I’m expecting her to go off short come post time. Mystery Show did well on debut chasing home a couple of useful sorts (especially the winner Indigo Girl) so she can put up the most resistance. The front pair should battle it out as none of the newcomers make much appeal. Always Dreaming is probably the most interesting of them but you’d think she’ll need the run.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT BATH ON MONDAY AFTERNOON!
Bath 4.05 Motagally (15/8)
Useful type who scored over C&D in July, beating the reopposing Chil Chil by over two lengths at the line; down the field at Ripon, not giving his true running; obvious chance if bouncing back here.
Given MOTAGALLY beat Chil Chil comfortably over C&D in July it’s hard to see that form being reversed. I know he blew out at Ripon last time but I think that effort is worth forgiving and he looks good value to get back in the winners enclosure this afternoon. The front pair have leading form claims but Delegate This Lord is a 3-time C&D winner himself so he has to be respected as well. Walk On Walter is probably the pace angle but the selection shouldn’t be far away and I expect him to grind it out in the closing stages, probably from Chil Chil as well. Princess Power and Open Wide have a bit to find to land a blow so the market has this more a less spot on for me.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Bath and Wolverhampton on Monday as we look to make it two winning doubles from our last three.

Here’s our Notebook Double. These are two horses we’ve been keeping an eye on that have a good chance of winning. The Tracker Double usually pays better than the Daily Double and must be included.
Here you will find our Daily Lucky 15! It includes both Notebook runners, the Eye Catcher and Value Tip. These are some of our strongest bets of the day combined to try and land that big win.
