Promising type who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut at Newmarket; denied just a head next start, only pegged back in the final strides; excellent third in a nursery at York last time; can improve again and tough to oppose.
The NAP was back to winning ways yesterday so hopefully we can follow up on Sunday. STAR OF ORION sets the standard here off the back of his encouraging third to Ataser in a nursery at York last month. The winner has since followed up so the form looks very solid. He is open to improvement too and should be a cut above these. It’s obviously a big field so he will need a bit of luck in running but his form claims are crystal clear to me. Night On Earth has won two of his four starts and is going the right way so should figure. He wears a hood for the first time which might bright about further improvement as he is a keen going sort. Eastern Voice is battle hardened and ran well when second at Roscommon 13 days ago so also comes into the reckoning in terms of a place.

Chelmsford 4.25 Mackelly (11/4)
Caught the eye to a certain extent when fifth to Rodrigo Diaz at Lingfield; confirmed that promise to win impressively at Southwell last month, beating a subsequent winner in Ben Lilly; should be hard to beat.
We head to Chelmsford for our second best bet of the day on Sunday and Richard Hughes has a useful type in MACKELLY. He impressed last time and with the form being given a significant boost since he looks to have obvious claims of following up. George Rooke takes off a handy 5lb and everything looks in place for another big run. Evaporust ran a career best when winning at Southwell last time so is feared most. He was given a peach of a ride on that occasion though so it may be a big ask to reproduce that at this track. Sea Sister scored at Catterick in July and was far from disgraced last time. Back on the AW so has to be considered in a race like this. I think if the favourite steps forward again though he is the one to beat. Should make the most of a good opportunity.
