NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN ON FRIDAY AND IS NOW 3 FROM 4! RUNS AT NEWMARKET ON SATURDAY!
Newmarket 3.50 Ocean Wind (7/4)
Promising young stayer who showed just what he is capable of when stamina came to the fore at Lingfield last month, beating a progressive horse into second; more to come up in trip and very much one to keep on side.
There’s a lot to like about OCEAN WIND here following an impressive performance at Lingfield last time. He was notably strong at the finish and given he had acquitted himself well in bumpers up to two miles through the winter this sort of test looks sure to suit. He has a progressive look to his form and the horse he beat last time John Locke opened his account next time so the form is solid. With the likes of Rochester House, Tynecastle Park and Charlie D in here this will be run at an honest gallop and if he can get nicely settled in behind I don’t think anything will be finishing as well. Strictly on the figures Platitude is probably the biggest danger but he doesn’t usually find a great deal off the bridle.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT NEWBURY ON SATURDAY AS WE LOOK TO GET IT BACK FIRING!
Newbury 5.05 Fox Vardy (9/4)
Looked to have turned a corner on return dotting up by 14 lengths at Newmarket; only beaten narrowly at York and another good run at Ascot; latest effort worth forgiving and big chance back down in trip here.
I’m willing to take a chance on FOX VARDY bouncing back to form back over this trip. This track promises to suit and his previous efforts read very well in the context of this race. It’s competitive but at the same time winnable so it will be disappointing if this son of Frankel doesn’t go close. His third to Look Closely and Hyanna looks some of the best form on offer. Tonyx is the closest in the betting and she has caught the eye recently so should give the selection most to think about but it would be foolish to rule out Natty Night too who has a great attitude for the job. He probably lacks the class of the favourite but again should be involved. I’ll be surprised if Cardano or Petite Jack are good enough.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Newmarket and Newbury on Saturday afternoon.

Navan
Da Baba Elephant 12/1
Mister Eddman 9/1
Abstract 14/1
Here’s our Notebook Double. These are two horses we’ve been keeping an eye on that have a good chance of winning. The Tracker Double usually pays better than the Daily Double and must be included.
Here you will find our Daily Lucky 15! It includes both Notebook runners, the Eye Catcher and Value Tip. These are some of our strongest bets of the day combined to try and land that big win.
Daily Lucky 15
Newbury 2.15 Ilaraab EYE CATCHER

Newmarket 3.15 VALUE TIP (EXCLUSIVE to oddschecker)
Newbury 3.25 Rhythm Master NOTEBOOK
Pays 220/1!
With 7 meetings on Saturday afternoon and evening we’ve also included an ITV Racing Each Way Double. These are two horses we think are overpriced. It pays a MONSTER 142/1!
