Race 2 Grafton 4.35 Tobasco (11/10)
Good looking chestnut who is chasing a hat-trick following two useful wins at Casino and here recently; likes to push forward so will look to dominate these; getting up in the weights but has plenty in his favour so hard to oppose.
We head to Grafton for our best bet Down Under overnight and TOBASCO is the one to beat for Ben Looker and John Shelton. He is red-hot right now having won his last two and the hat-trick surely beckons now? He is an enthusiastic type who likes to push forward and lead and with a similar scenario that saw him victorious last time likely to pan out he is hard to get away from. Dominant Crown is consistent and is running well enough to pose some sort of a threat. Savanna Jeune also comes into the picture on recent efforts but it’s hard to get away from the fav as he may always be dominating and will be hard to peg back if doing so.

Race 4 Orange 4.50 Just A Flash (5/4)
Promising type who tried to make all at Narromine on return last month before being edged out late; improved to get back to winning ways at Wellington last time; fitter now and can improve again so obvious claims.
This looks a good opportunity for JUST A FLASH to win again. He keeps improving and has a massive chance despite the weight rise. He is fast and might always be dictating here. There is some competition for the lead with Designer Maid but that should keep him honest and he has the gears to pull away. Chevron Prince is probably the main danger but he hasn’t been seen for a couple of months and may need the run especially conceding first run to the favourite. I Stole Your Love is bang there on ratings so also has to be considered but again I’ll be surprised if she is good enough to put up a serious challenge to the selection. Market has this spot on for me.
