Best Australian Horse Racing bets in Australia on Wednesday morning
The Aussie NAP has won FIVE times in the last seven days! Hopefully we can fire in another winner overnight at Ballarat. Also racing from Gold Coast and Kensington. Bring on the winners!
Alongside our best bets we have race-by-race bets below the main bets if you want to know what we fancy on the rest of the cards (just scroll right down to the bottom).
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) HAS WON FIVE TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK!
Race 3 Ballarat 5.10 Zelify (11/8)
Improving filly who impressed first-up finishing well having been caught back and wide; should be more streetwise now and with the promise of more to come looks well placed to make the breakthrough.
Another quiet night Down Under so not much to go on. The best bet looks to be ZELIFY at Ballarat. She is a likeable filly who is going the right way and this looks a great opportunity for her to make the breakthrough for Chris Waller and Damian Lane. I think they’ll keep things simple with her and she can see this bunch off. If I had to pick a danger then it would probably be La Marsa as she showed ability when fourth on debut at Wangaratta in June. Raced greenly that day so should take a step forward but still might not have enough to trouble the favourite. Merva is the most interesting newcomer as she has done well in trials so should run into a place if forward enough.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 1 AT GOLD COAST ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 1 Gold Coast 4.11 Blueant (7/4)
Smart type who added a second career win here last time looking better than ever back from 4 months off the track; fitter now so obvious reason for further improvement and comfortably the one to beat in this field.
Well backed on return BLUEANT made no mistake here winning well. He can kick on now and looks the most likely winner again. He has two wins from six starts including three placings so rarely runs a bad race and looks well placed to enhance his CV. Better Than Groovy has a mediocre strike rate but ran well last time finishing second so has to come into the reckoning. Bold Hunter went down narrowly last time at Rockhampton but is up in class now so will find this tougher. Could still run well without being good enough. Great Keppell returned with a below par fifth at Doomben after being held up but is better than that. Does have something to prove at present though.
Autralian Daily Double
The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gold Coast and Ballarat on Wednesday morning.
