THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 8 AT ASCOT ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 8 Ascot 10.20 Notorious One (10/11)
Promising type who is unbeaten in two starts winning easily despite racing greenly on debut before improving to win by a neck last time making up good ground late; should be more streetwise now and great chance to make it 3-3.
A lot to like about the unbeaten NOTORIOUS ONE here. He has looked a work in progress in two starts to date but that hasn’t stopped him winning both and this looks another good stepping stone for him before going onto better things. He left it late last time but made up good ground in the closing stages and he will relish the extra yardage on offer here. Glamour Packed has won two from eight starts and shaped with plenty of encouragement last time so has to be feared most. The selection does have a wide draw but I think he has the class to overcome it. Hard to see anything else proving good enough but Bobcat Johnnie looks value to hit the frame. Needs to settle better.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT ASCOT ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 7 Ascot 9.45 Outback Jack (1/1)
Too green to do himself justice when second on debut, failing to land a gamble; put that right last time though winning well and with the promise of more to come now he is a confident selection to come out on top here.
The step back in trip shouldn’t inconvenience OUTBACK JACK so hopefully he can make it two wins from his first three starts. He is a promising individual who should have lots more to come now he has got his head in front. He has been well punted on both occasions so connections clearly think they have something useful on their hands. This isn’t overly competitive and while he did look happy over that longer trip last time I think he has the tactical speed to cope with it and that’s very much reflected in his odds. Captain Burglar won on his penultimate start before finishing third last time and looks the one to put up the most resistance.
