NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY SO WE’RE NOW CHASING A FIVE-TIMER!

Doncaster 2.55 Wembley (7/4)

Galileo colt who improved to chase home Thunder Moon in the National Stakes before stepping forward again when second to stablemate St Mark’s Basilica in the Dewhurst at Newmarket last time; hard to oppose.

The NAP continues to go from strength to strength as we landed our FOURTH winner in a row yesterday. We head to Doncaster on Saturday and WEMBLEY is expected to justify favouritism in the Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore. This colt is improving as he gains experience and those last two runs set a very good standard here. He is open to further progress and should have these covered. One Ruler has won two of his last three and is a lively danger. I do think he has ground to make up with the favourite though. State Of Rest was third in the Champagne Stakes behind Chindit and comes into the reckoning for a place. King Vega looks a nice horse for Andrew Balding but he might need more time as this is fiercely competitive.

NB – Second best selection of the day

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT CHELTENHAM ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!

Cheltenham 2.05 Allmankind (7/4)

Took really well to hurdles winning his first three starts in most impressive fashion; very good third in the Triumph behind Burning Victory and remains with plenty of potential; holds main market rival Botox Has on last season’s form too.

This looks all about ALLMANKIND to me. He was last seen finishing third in that dramatic Triumph Hurdle at the Festival. Before that he rattled off 3 easy wins including over C&D and scored on seasonal debut by 32 lengths so has no problem putting in a big performance fresh. He’s expected to take all the beating here under Harry Skelton. Nordano has been relatively ignored in the betting but he impressed at Ascot and should be fit after a recent run on the Flat. Botox Has is the closest in the betting but he could only finish second to the selection when they met last season. He has improved and is going the right way so is feared too but I fancy the favourite to confirm that form. Anna Bunina has quickly made up into a useful hurdler but she’ll find this tougher.
