Best Australian Horse Racing bets in Australia on Wednesday morning
The NAP is still chasing a double as was scratched late last night. The NB won and we had plenty of winners across the 3 meetings. It’s a really busy night ahead, some good racing. Pondus makes his Aussie debut at Bendigo!
Alongside our best bets we have race-by-race bets below the main bets if you want to know what we fancy on the rest of the cards (just scroll right down to the bottom).
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) IS STILL CHASING A DOUBLE AND RUNS AT ASCOT ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 6 Ascot 8.10 Treasured Crown (6/4)
Despite proving troublesome to load he made a winning reappearance at Belmont Park last month; suffered trouble in the run when only fourth here last time; back up in trip now which should suit and has a good draw to boot.
This looks all about TREASURED CROWN for Adam Durrant and Laqdar Ramoly. This 4yo remains open to further improvement and is getting a clean run through will be the one they all have to beat. He had excuses last time and was a convincing winner prior to that. This looks winnable and I think the market has it spot on. Holy Enchantment is a horse I like too and I think he’ll chase the selection home. He was beaten 4 lengths last time and seems to be holding his form well. At the bigger prices Rodomonte shouldn’t be completely ignored. She won at York on her penultimate start before finishing fourth here latest. Big price and looks value to hit the frame.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT IPSWICH ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 6 Ipswich 6.30 Hidden Hail (7/4)
Knocked hard on the door before it opened over C&D last time; improving as he gains experience as raced green when beaten the time before so should be lots more to come now; one to keep on side.
We head to Ipswich on Wednesday morning for our second best bet Down Under and HIDDEN HAIL is strongly fancied to make it two wins from his first five starts. He hasn’t put a foot wrong really and certainly raced more streetwise when winning impressively over track and trip last time. There should be lots more to come now and he looks to be the most progressive horse in the line-up. Blueant is also plenty talented and he looked good winning at Gold Coast on his penultimate start. Entitled to do better yet but I just think he’s bumping into one in the shape of the favourite here. Rebel Rock and So You Shop should fight out third spot.
Autralian Daily Double
The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Ipswich and Ascot on Wednesday morning.
