THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT CARLISLE ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON AS WE LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK!
Carlisle 2.40 Imperial Aura (7/4)
A lot to like about the way he beat Galvin at Cheltenham and likelihood is he is still improving; looks well placed on return and with the yard firing he should prove hard to beat with good speed engaged.
Sam Brown, Black Op and Windsor Avenue could all go forward here and if they do that will be an ideal scenario for IMPERIAL AURA as he will look to get settled early before picking rivals off one by one. He was progressive last season winning at the Cheltenham Festival on final start. He could be open to further improvement and looks the one they all have to beat here. Brewin’upastorm is a tricky individual albeit very talented. He unseated in the Arkle when last seen but surely has some better days ahead? He looks most likely to emerge as the danger to the favourite. Black Op is a good horse and he shouldn’t be entirely ruled out but I’ll be surprised if he overhauls the favourite.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT HUNTINGDON ON SUNDAY!
Huntingdon 12.48 Orchestral Rain (2/1)
Expected him to do much better on debut for this yard at Fontwell but clearly stepped forward markedly for the run to win well at Ludlow; going the right way now and looks one to keep on side.
We head to Huntingdon for our second best bet on Sunday and ORCHESTRAL RAIN is a horse I want to keep on the right side of. He won comfortably at Ludlow and looks open to considerable improvement again. He is a horse learning on the job and I fancy him to take care of this bunch before going onto better things. Fraterculus, who he beat last time, is the second favourite here and may well be the one to chase him home again. Tamaris is probably the most interesting debutant. He was useful on the Flat for Roger Charlton and could do well for this yard. He might just need the run though and I think the fav and second fav set a fairly decent standard.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Huntingdon and Carlisle on Sunday afternoon.
