Tuesday’s Best Bets
A tough start to the week on Monday so we’ll be looking to bounce back on Tuesday with 5 meetings to get stuck into. Racing from Lingfield, Sedgefield, Punchestown, Southwell and Wolverhampton.
Scroll down to find our most confident selections (NAP & NB) PLUS race-by-race picks for every race across all FIVE meetings.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT SEDGEFIELD ON TUESDAY AS WE LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK!
Sedgefield 12.46 Gold Fields (9/4)
Took a big step forward to open his account impressively over fences at the third time of asking at Fakenham last week, striding clear; turned out quickly under a penalty and if he backs that up he will win again.
Cybalko finally opened his account here 12 days ago benefitting from a more positive ride and he should run well up 7lb but GOLD FIELDS gets 18lb from that rival and arguably won more impressively when getting off the mark in this sphere at Fakenham last week. He is also up 7lb but look well ahead of the handicapper and if he turns up in the same form he looks the one they all have to beat. Arizona Glory didn’t shape to badly on chase debut and can jump better than that so certainly isn’t completely ruled out. He’ll need to come on a fair bit to trouble the favourite though and is passed over until he gets more experience. Nothing appeals at bigger prices in a race that lacks strength in depth.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT WOLVERHAMPTON ON TUESDAY!
Wolverhampton 5.00 Anatiya (11/4)
Improving filly who left debut run well behind when opening her account in good style over C&D earlier this month, running on well; remains unexposed now pitched into a nursery and no surprise if she steps forward a chunk again.
This looks competitive but ANATIYA catches my eye off the back of that impressive win over C&D. She needs to step forward again now pitched into a nursery off a mark of 79 but she showed signs of inexperience before the penny dropped last time so there’s good reason to think she’ll be capable of better yet. Highest Ambition is a nice colt off a fair opening mark and he could run well but I think he’s more of a long-term project. Still feared but happy to have the favourite against him here. Tilaawah deserved to get his head in front at Yarmouth but probably needs more to follow up on first start for Mark Loughnane. Night Narcissus also enters calculations off a solid effort last time.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Sedgefield and Wolverhampton on Tuesday.
