THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT HEREFORD ON THURSDAY!
Hereford 3.05 Sexy Lot (13/8)
Showed improved form to brush the opposition aside at Ffos Las last month, winning head in chest; proved that was no fluke travelling strongly before asserting impressively at Chepstow; up 15lb but foolish to rule out further improvement.
The NAP is on a hat-trick on Thursday and we head to Hereford where SEXY LOT is chasing three in a row herself. She has looked a filly in tremendous form the last twice and if she builds on that latest performance even with the handicapper having his say she should prove too good for this bunch. It’s a very winnable race and that’s reflected in the betting with the second fav trading at 7/1. I’m struggling to point out an exact danger but I can see Avantgardist running well at a big price. He ran well at Bangor finishing a respectable fifth before being badly hampered at Ludlow last time. Looks good value to hit the frame so may well be worth a saver.

Chelmsford 7.30 Juan Les Pins (5/2)
Eye-catching run over this trip at Kempton before winning easily over 6f on final start for Ed Walker; highly promising debut for this yard when denied just a nose at Newcastle earlier this month and obvious chance of going one better now.
This is quite a good race and both Alexej and Split Down South should run their races but I’ve got to be with JUAN LES PINS here granted a clear run through. He has finished second and won one or his last three so couldn’t really be in better form right now. He may well have won last time but for being hampered and a first-time hood can sharpen him up. He is easily the most interesting in here and his claims are obvious. Split Down South is a horse I love and he has won 5-times over C&D but under a penalty this is much tougher so I have to pass him over begrudgingly. Alexej is the danger but he does need to improve a fair bit to challenge. Arctic Vega can do better but that latest run was poor.
Daily Double
