Race 8 Doomben 6.52 Isotope (5/6)
Likeable filly who stripped fitter winning easily over C&D earlier this month; won 3 from 6 now and getting better with every run so obvious chance of going in again; looks one to keep firmly on side.
We head to Doomben early on Saturday morning for our best bet Down Under and ISOTOPE will be a short price here but that’s with good reason. This likeable filly is making headway every start and was very impressive over this track and trip last time winning the Listed Mode Plate. With the promise of more to come she looks the one to beat in this field. Away Game is certainly no back number as she is a filly with plenty of upsides herself but I just think she’s bumping into one here. I fully expect the pair to finish 1-2 and they might even be worth backing in the forecast. It’s 16/1 bar the rest and Safework is probably the best of those as he ran well here last time denied just a nose.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT RANDWICK ON SATURDAY!
Race 5 Randwick 4.00 Fulmina (6/4)
Good looking chestnut who has 4 career wins from 11 starts and ran on strongly on first start for four months at Rosehill last time; fitter now and looks hard to beat with further improvement a distinct possibility.
I’m looking forward to seeing FULMINA at Randwick early on Saturday morning. This mare is extremely talented and there was a lot of promise to take from her comeback run where she stayed on strongly in the closing stages to finish third at Rosehill. She is sure to step forward physically from that and looks the one they all have to beat here. New Arrangement began awkwardly last time and could never get involved but wasn’t beaten too far and has a low draw here so is expected to do much better. Could emerge as the main danger to the favourite. Betcha Flying has also been thereabouts lately and if she runs to her best form she shouldn’t be too far away.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Randwick and Doomben in the early hours of Saturday morning.
