NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) HAS WON TWICE IN THE LAST THREE DAYS! RUNS AT LINGFIELD!
Lingfield 11.45 It Must Be Faith (2/1)
Hat-trick seeker who merely had to be pushed clear to win again last time, well on top at the finish; turned out quickly under a penalty but if in the same form will take all the beating in this contest; claimer good value.
I’m siding with IT MUST BE FAITH at Lingfield for our best bet on Tuesday. This 10yo has been in great form recently following up his Kempton win with a stylish victory at Wolverhampton on Saturday. He has a double penalty to contend with but looks the most likely winner in this field with Erika Parkinson in the saddle again. She has developed a good partnership with this horse and is excellent value for her claim. Spreadsheet is becoming expensive to follow and while he wasn’t disgraced last time I expected him to do better so I think he’s opposable. Vincenzo Coccotti may well emerge as the main danger as he has been knocking on the door of late.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) IS STILL ON A HAT-TRICK! RUNS AT HUNTINGDON!
Huntingdon 1.35 Dragonfruit (10/3)
Good looking sort who improved to open his account at the first time of asking over fences at Carlisle last time; unexposed over this distance and with the extra yardage firmly in his favour he looks a good bet to follow up.
Stepping up in trip back over timber DRAGONFRUIT looks well placed to follow up. His trainer Oliver Greenall has been in good form and with useful 5lb claimer Ross Turner booked for the ride this likeable chestnut looks to have an obvious chance of getting himself in the winners enclosure again. Project Mars has been progressive over hurdles and showed a good attitude to win again last time but a 4lb rise does make things tougher for him. Shanroe Tic Tech has won here and ran his best race for a while when second at Market Rasen last month. 4lb rise without winning does look harsh but he could run better than his odds suggest here.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Lingfield and Huntingdon on Tuesday.
