NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) HAS WON 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 5 DAYS! RUNS AT WOLVES ON SATURDAY!
Wolverhampton 4.40 Passional (6/4)
Progressive filly who put in a career best to open her account over this trip at Southwell last month; lightly raced so should be more to come stepping back into handicap company; hard to oppose.
This looks a good opportunity for PASSIONAL to follow up. This Footstepsinthesand filly showed blistering speed to leave them standing at Southwell last time and was always doing enough in the closing stages to hold on. She is relatively lightly raced for her age so there should be more to come from her. She is back in handicap company and should have scope off a mark of 55 now she’s got her head in front. This isn’t the strongest race being a Class 6 so it’s hard to pinpoint an exact danger but I guess it would probably have to be the consistent Red Allure who’s both career wins have come over this C&D. She looks the one to give the favourite a race.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) NOW ALSO RUNS AT WOLVERHAMPTON WITH AYR ABANDONED!
Wolverhampton 6.10 Final Voyage (10/11)
Smart colt who has 3 wins from 6 starts and impressed over C&D last week, keeping on well; 7lb higher but distinct possibility of more to come so should prove hard to beat and that’s reflected in the market.
What a nightmare with Ayr being called off in the final hour. We have a replacement NB for you running at Wolverhampton tonight though. FINAL VOYAGE has been well backed but looks a good bet to justify favouritism for James Tate and Adam Kirby. He is a progressive colt and sets a clear standard off the back of that C&D win on Boxing Day. He remains open to improvement and I don’t think a 7lb rise is enough to anchor him on this occasion. Mirage Mac won her first 3 starts but was firmly put in her place at Newcastle last time so has a bit to prove now. Blue Hero looks the danger as he has been gelded now and should do better going forward.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They both run at Wolverhampton now Ayr has been abandoned.
