Sunday’s Best Bets
NAP LANDED AGAIN YESTERDAY! Just the two meetings on Sunday with racing from Southwell and Exeter. The Daily Double pays 9/2 PLUS we have a 74/1 Mega Acca!
Scroll down to find our most confident selections (NAP & NB) PLUS race-by-race picks for every race across BOTH meetings.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT EXETER ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Exeter 1.40 Karl Philippe (13/8)
2-2 in bumpers in testing ground and made a highly encouraging start over hurdles when denied just a head by a promising type over C&D last month; should improve for the experience and looks well placed to go one better now.
Fergal O’Brien has his string in good order at present and KARL PHILIPPE looks a good bet to open his account over hurdles at Exeter on Sunday afternoon. He was only pegged back in the last couple of strides over track and trip last month and the winner Dock Road looks a nice prospect for Ben Pauling so the form should work out. The pair came 11 lengths clear from the gamble of the race Red Lion Lad and they were well strung out in behind. He should know more now and looks well placed to go one better. Gladiateur Allen showed plenty of ability when second at Ffos Las and looks the most likely danger if he steps forward from that. Martinhal needs more on what we’ve seen to get involved.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT SOUTHWELL ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Southwell 3.50 Nick Vedder (13/8)
Caught the eye when fourth over 5f here in October and made no mistake sweeping through from off the pace to strike over C&D last week; turned out quickly under a 4lb penalty but hard to stop if in the same form.
The NB runs on the fibresand at Southwell on Sunday in the shape of last time out winner NICK VEDDER. This son of Rip Van Winkle was back to his best picking up strongly from off the pace to score over C&D last week. He still has scope from a handicapping perspective on old form and should follow up if in the same form under Kieran Shoemark. Jazz Legend looks the pace angle but Rayyan won’t be far away either. He is one of the dangers to the selection but he will be a target in the closing stages and that should suit the favourite as he will look to pounce late. Sir Rodneyredblood is capable and has Marco Ghiani on board who is good value for his 5lb claim so he might be the main threat.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Exeter and Southwell on Sunday afternoon.
