Race 6 Devonport 5.20 French Heiress (11/10)
Likeable mare who was beaten less than a length at Longford at the start of this month; running to a consistent level and this looks a great opportunity so should go close; keep on side against this field.
Going for FOUR IN A ROW for the Aussie NAP tonight and we head to Devonport where FRENCH HEIRESS should be rewarded for her consistency. She has been knocking hard on the door and this looks easier so I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t record career number 2. She probably should have won a few more but the fact she’s placed 9 times from 20 starts shows the ability she has. Gee Gees Punter is the closest in the betting and he ran a cracker denied just a nose last time. A similar run to that would make him the main danger to the favourite. Stinka brings winning form to the table and goes well fresh so is also capable of running his race and has to be considered.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT TAREE ON MONDAY!
Race 6 Taree 5.50 Pace Stick (5/4)
Good looking sort who brings progressive form to the table; won 3 from 8 starts and will be fitter from a trial win so should make them all go here with conditions firmly in his favour; obvious shout.
We head to Taree on Monday morning for our second best bet Down Under and PACE STICK is strongly fancied to justify favouritism. He is getting better as he gains experience and impressed on final start winning here from a good yardstick in Pure Faith. He’s gone well fresh before and will be fit from a trial win so everything points towards a big run. The only downside is his odds as I expect him to be a warm order come post time. Daltoro is plenty talented himself and looks the obvious danger to the selection. He overraced last time though and will need to settle better to be seen to best effect. The ability is there for all to see though so I expect him to fight it out with the favourite.
Autralian Daily Double
The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Devonport and Taree in the early hours of Monday morning.
