Wolverhampton 5.45 Night Narcissus (1/1)
Promising filly who was beaten less than a length on her first three starts and did well to get as close as she did last time given she was awkwardly away and took a bump early; sets the standard and back up to 6f a big plus.
Back in novice company there shouldn’t be too many excuses for NIGHT NARCISSUS at Wolverhampton on Monday evening. This filly by Kodi Bear has done little wrong in a handful of starts to date and with further improvement to come she should belatedly open her account. Strawbs impressed on debut overcoming inexperience to make a winning start but she needs more here. Lead Story is the one I expect to give the selection a race. She showed promise when fourth over C&D on debut and with improvement to come she should go well and is one to watch going forward. Miss Bella Brand was second on debut but the form doesn’t look up to much.

Doncaster 2.05 Truckers Pass (6/4)
Finished second on all 3 starts under Rules again shaping with considerable promise when runner-up to Do Your Job at Ffos Las in October; looks to have been found a good opportunity now and can be rewarded for his consistency.
It’s hard to look past TRUCKERS PASS here for Philip Hobbs and Dicky Johnson. A lot like our NAP today this horse has done little wrong and he has finished second to the right horses each time. He bumped into Soaring Glory in a bumper before before edged out by Tile Tapper at Exeter and then found the progressive Do Your Job too strong at Ffos Las. He can improve still and will be hard to beat getting 7lb from main market rival L’Incorrigible. The latter looks a nice horse in the making but lacks experience and with the weight swing it was an easy decision for me. Solwara One got off the mark in a bumper at Uttoxeter and is also not discounted now tackling hurdles.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Doncaster and Wolverhampton on Monday.
