Race 6 Canberra 5.19 Propose To Me (10/11)
Good looking mare who returned from 9 months off the track to win convincingly over track and trip last month; sure to strengthen up from that and open to considerable improvement so definitely the one they all have to beat.
Our best bets both finished second overnight so we’re looking to bounce back now but have no fear we’ve been in great form with the Aussie NAP winning 4 times from our last 5 selections. We have recorded a whopping +106.56 points profit so far in January and we still managed to smash in 14 WINNERS OVERNIGHT. We head to Canberra on Wednesday morning for our best bet and last time out winner PROPOSE TO ME is fancied to go in again. This chestnut mare is firmly on the upgrade and if she takes another step forward she will have too much for these. Designer Dance has been consistent but she often runs well without winning (just 2 wins from 16 starts but placed 8 times). Zelago is the danger.

Race 2 Rockhampton 2.34 Navarre (5/4)
A lot to like about his closing effort over 1400m here last month, beaten just a length in the end; should strip fitter from the run again and won’t get many better opportunities than this to make the breakthrough.
I’ve got to keep NAVARRE on side here. He has finished second 5 times but looks to finally make the breakthrough here. He ran on encouragingly last time to be beaten just a length and a similar effort up 200m in trip will see him finally open his account. This is desperately weak to my eye so it will be really disappointing if he doesn’t prove the answer, hence his fairly short odds in the market. Teeling is an obvious danger as he is unexposed having only raced 3 times. He was too keen last time though so will need to settle. If he does he will give the selection a race but that could turn out to be a big ‘IF’ depending on if they go an honest gallop. Espereus is also worth respecting.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Rockhampton and Canberra in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
