THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT PINJARRA PARK ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Pinjarra Park 8.45 Beret (11/8)
Good looking chestnut mare who already has 3 wins on the board and she was only beaten 2 lengths when fourth at Ascot last month; this looks easier and she has an obvious chance of getting back to winning ways.
Hard to look past the progressive BERET here for Adam Durrant and Clint Johnston-Porter. She was beaten just a nose on return at Bunbury before going down just a couple of lengths at Ascot. She is often well backed and given this looks easier I expect her to go off a short price. She is back in trip but that shouldn’t inconvenience her. Lil’ Red Bikini needs to improve but will enjoy these conditions and does enter the reckoning. I’ll be surprised if she beats the favourite but I can see her being bang there at a decent each way price. Star Glitter went down all guns blazing last time and he has tons of experience to draw on. Should run well without being good enough. 9/1 bar those and they lack quality.

Race 2 Eagle Farm 3.56 Couldn’t Refuse (13/8)
Likeable type who ran a cracker in a good race at Doomben before going one better prevailing by a nose there last time; low gate ideal and he should bag the rail and try to make all if things go to plan; hard to oppose.
This looks all about COULDN’T REFUSE to me. If he gets away on terms and secures a decent position on the rail I think he’ll have too many gears for these. He was back to winning ways last time and that had been coming. He has ran 6 times over this trip and has 4 wins and a second so is extremely hard to fault. He has been to this track 4 times without a win by 2 seconds show he handles it and I think he’s an improved invidious now so looks ready to strike. Mount Tabora ran well when second last time behind Agassi and should go well. Probably the one to give the favourite a race. Fairy Me Home needs to put his best hoof forward but he also enters calculations if doing so.
