THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT ASCOT ON WEDNESDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Ascot 9.50 Prized Miss (1/1)
Promising filly who made the perfect start running on strongly from last to first to win by a neck at Bunbury last month; sure to improve on that first start and looks a danger to all as she looks to make it 2-2 here.
It’s a bit of a wait for our Aussie NAP overnight but hopefully worthwhile as we head to Ascot on Wednesday morning. PRIZED MISS impressed on debut and with usual progression from one run to the next she should be extremely hard to beat here. She’ll need to improve but you’d be surprised if she didn’t. Irritable Rodnee is the closest in the betting and he is promising himself. He has ran 3 times over this trip resulting in 2 seconds so he should be winning soon. Domineer is a mare on the up too and she does look quite big in the market at 8/1. I can see her improving and running well without giving the favourite too much to worry about.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT TOWNSVILLE!
Race 3 Townsville 4.47 Cleo’s Poet (6/4)
Talented sort who did well to win by a head over track and trip last week; clearly in great form right now and finds the right race to try and follow up and record a sixth career victory; obvious chance.
It’s hard to look past CLEO’S POET here as he should lead from a low gate and he might always be dictating. He impressed winning over C&D last time and a similar effort may well suffice here given this looks to lack strength in depth. He is around 6/4 at the time of writing and I can see him shortening up as post time looms. Indian Dancer is the closest in the betting but he has just 1 win to his name from 11 starts and really blew out last time. I couldn’t have him on my mind after that and he is surely best watched for now? Own Sweet Way may be the bigger danger as while he was also brushed aside last time he is better than that and some of his previous form catches the eye.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Townsville and Ascot in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
