NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT SOUTHWELL ON WEDNESDAY!
Southwell 4.30 Delph Crescent (13/8)
Ran with credit back down to a mile when third at Kempton last month; proven on soft ground so should handle conditions tackling fibresand for the first time; top rated so might just go to the front and boss them.
I usually try and avoid 3/4 runner races for one of my best bets but DELPH CRESCENT looks the one to be on at Southwell on Wednesday. He is tackling fibresand for the first time but has a soft ground action and is proven when the mud is flying and I can see this test suiting him. He will look to get into a rhythm off the front and might just end up galloping them into submission. Wrath Of Hector and Vive La Difference are by no means discounted as both are more than capable on a going day but I just think the selection will prove too strong and I’ll be honest I can see him winning head in chest here. If I had to pick a danger it would probably be Vive La Difference but he can be unreliable.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT CHEPSTOW ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!
Chepstow 1.05 Real Stone (15/8)
Showed the benefit of a wind op when staying on strongly to win well at Aintree on debut over hurdles; too keen to do himself justice at Newbury last time but should bounce back here; still has considerable potential.
With Coconut Splash a non runner we now head to the Novice Hurdle for our second best bet of the day and REAL STONE is fancied to bounce back here for Dan and Harry Skelton. He was just too keen the last day but his Aintree win was really impressive and if he bounces back he looks a danger to all here. He still has considerable potential and with Bumpy Johnson now out it looks a great opportunity. Grumpy Charley should improve now hurdling and it wouldn’t surprise me if he stepped forward enough to give the selection a race. The pair look a cut above the rest but Conceal should have a future despite failing to build on that Sedgefield effort.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Chepstow and Southwell on Wednesday.
