THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT DELTA DOWNS ON THURSDAY NIGHT!
Race 4 Delta Downs 8.16 Ebony Bay (10/11)
Talented filly who was back to her best winning head in chest over the extended 7f here last month; doesn’t know how to run a bad race and looks well placed to go in again; appeals as the most likely winner.
Given EBONY BAY was running well in better company than this it was no surprise to see her back in the winners enclosure at this level last month. She remains open to further improvement and this looks a good bit of placement for her to go and follow up. Silent Trick is a likeable type and she travelled well when winning here on penultimate start. She was all out at the finish though and her stamina does have to be questioned somewhat. I can see her coming there going best but the selection seeing it out the stronger. Still respected though. Madison’s Wild One was well held last time but should be fitter now and also has to enter calculations.

THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) LANDED LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT TURF PARADISE!
Race 6 Turf Paradise 9.50 Matson (13/8)
Powered clear to win easily over C&D earlier this month; clearly well suited by this track and he is still open to further progress on dirt so looks to have a great chance of following up; should race prominently and get first crack.
Sticking with last time out winner MATSON for our second best bet Stateside tonight. He really impressed last time and if he puts in a similar performance here he should have too much for these. He took it up at a fairly early stage and always looked to be moving best before powering clear in the closing stages. He looks to have a big engine and with the test this track provides playing to his strengths I can see him being a warm order tonight. Mr Navigator impressed on penultimate start in a stronger race than this and while he was held last time he will appreciate tackling a mile for the first time and should run well at a decent each way price. May well be worth a saver. Out On Saturday is also respected.
