NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT CHELMSFORD ON MONDAY AS WE LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK!

Chelmsford 1.10 Jumira Bridge (11/8)

Built on a promising run at Newcastle doing well to win at Wolverhampton at the start of the month; quickened up impressively to follow up back up to this trip a week ago; penalised but thriving right now and hat-trick beckons.

We’ve been with JUMIRA BRIDGE the last twice and I’m not about to abandon him now. He has looked a rejuvenated character of late and really impressed with how he managed to get up over 5f on his penultimate run. This much more his trip and showed that running out an impressive winner last time. He switched to Chelmsford now but looks to have plenty going for him under a penalty and I think he’ll land the hat-trick. Barrington is on a 25 run losing sequence but again he should run his race. It wouldn’t surprise me if he finished second. Vape ran poorly last time but would also have to be feared if he bounced back to his best form. Sir Hector has won over this C&D but needs to show more now.

NB – Second best selection of the day

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT KEMPTON ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Kempton 6.45 Going Places (2/1)

Good looking sort who showed the benefit of a gelding operation to make a winning stable debut for Archie Watson, eased down close home at Lingfield latest; capable of better on handicap debut; one to keep on side.

It was no surprise to see GOING PLACES improve and win his maiden in good style at Lingfield earlier this month. That looks a good piece of form and tackling handicap company now off an opening mark of 89 he looks to be a danger to all here. He is a son of Frankel so is certainly bred to be smart and that gelding operation looks to have done the trick judging by how easily he did it last time. This will be harder but he can keep progressing and should have too much for these. Starshiba who he beat last time may well be the one to chase him home again but Soar Above is a 3-time C&D winner and also has to be respected. Reaction Time can improve and will also be eyeing up a place.
