THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT GULFSTREAM TONIGHT!

Race 9 Gulfstream 9.13 Royal Meghan (11/10)

Smart filly who won head in chest over track and trip last month; looks on the upgrade now and if she repeats that sort of form in slightly better company she should go in again with Gaffalione in the saddle again.

The NAP landed Stateside last night as Knicks Go blew them away at Gulfstream! Hopefully we can fire in another winner tonight as last time out winner ROYAL MEGHAN looks to follow up. She is a filly on the up and that last win was very impressive. I expect her to race prominently again tonight and she should take a lot of pegging back. This is slightly more competitive but I expect her to take the step up in grade in her stride. Bramble Berry also brings winning form to the table and she looks the biggest danger. She was behind the selection on her penultimate start though so has 6 lengths to find with the favourite. Addilyn is consistent and shouldn’t be too far away either.

Race 3 Aqueduct 6.20 Perceived (11/10)

Promising horse who has only had a handful of starts but looks to be progressing nicely now winning his last two, particularly impressive over track and trip last time; open to further improvement and should land the hat-trick.

I liked the way PERCEIVED forged into the lead last time and he is on a C&D hat-trick now. He looks a horse who is getting better as he gains experience and if he does step forward again (he should go physically as that was his first start for 321 days) then he will have these all at it to try and hold him off. He likes to close from off the pace so hopefully they go a good clip up top. Advance Notice is the danger. He was denied just a neck last time and with more to come should give the selection a race. Liam’s Fire was beaten a fair way last time so needs to improve on that to get involved but some of his previous form reads well in the context of this race so he might show up for a long way too.
