THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT GEELONG ON WEDNESDAY MORNING!
Race 2 Geelong 5.15 Lady Mofeed (4/5)
Good looking chestnut filly who left her debut run well behind when denied just a nose at Cranbourne earlier this month; improving with experience now and big chance to go one better if she steps forward again.
Both the NAP and NB didn’t live up to expectations last night but thankfully we still recorded a profitable night with plenty of winners. Hopefully we can get our feature bets back firing on Wednesday as we head to Geelong for our best bet. LADY MOFEED was denied by the narrowest of margins when last seen and with improvement a near certainty she looks well placed to make the breakthrough at just the third time of asking. The jockey actually lost an iron last time so it was a huge effort to go so close. In terms of a danger Vinni Rose has been holding her form well and is a threat back from a four month absence. Belsielle has also shown ability and shouldn’t be underestimated.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT MACKAY ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 5 Mackay 5.58 Carlin Trend (6/5)
Looked better than ever when winning at Rockhampton on return last month fresh from six months off the track; justified strong support that day and likely to be popular again; further progress to come and should win.
It’s hard to look past CARLIN TREND here. He made the breakthrough on return and can go onto better things now. He will strip fitter here and will appreciate the extra yardage. Top Rung looked to need the run on return from seven months off at Rockhampton and is expected to step forward from that. If he does he should give the favourite a race but I think he needs to find more to win. Ruffin’ It is another who is expected to step forward from hs return. Just 1 win from 17 starts doesn’t inspire confidence though so I can see him running well without winning. They all have a bit to prove so the favourite looks to be well placed to follow up to me. Nothing really appeals at bigger prices.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Geelong and Mackay in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
