THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT ALBANY ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Albany 7.40 Big Bada Boom (1/1)
Progressive sort who landed the hat-trick last time; should get a nice toe into this and can prove too strong in the closing stages; well placed to make it 4 wins from just 6 starts; one to keep safe for now.
We head to Albany on Thursday morning for our best bet Down Under and BIG BADA BOOM looks set to extend his winning sequence. He made it 3 in a row last time and wasn’t hard pressed to do so. I can see this playing out perfectly for him and if it does he will be extremely hard to stop in the closing stages. He has only had 5 starts so is improving with experience and can go on with it here. Carolina Reaper looks the pace angle with Frosty Bay potentially pushing forward as well. If they take each other on I can see the favourite just sitting in behind before coming with a strong effort close home. War Class looks the danger as he won on his penultimate start and wasn’t disgraced last time.

Race 3 Eagle Farm 4.55 Spinning Spirit (11/10)
Likeable mare who has 3 wins from 14 starts but 6 seconds in there too so hugely consistent; caught the eye back from 7 months off the track when denied just a nose here earlier this month; sure to improve.
Just the 6 runners go to post for this and SPINNING SPIRIT is likely to be a warm order come post time. This mare is a very honest sort who has some decent form in the book. She knows how to win and this looks a great opportunity following her agonising second last time returning from a lengthy absence. She will tighten up for the run and can take this out. Probably at the main expense of Tourmaster who hasn’t had a great deal of luck and is better than what he showed last time. Zoofari and Toujours L’Amour also have to be respected in opposition but I think the favourite will have too much for them in the closing stages and can win again.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Eagle Farm and Albany in the early hours of Thursday morning.
