NAP LANDED OVERNIGHT! Another busy night Down Under coming up with racing on Friday morning from Taree, Werribee, Bathurst, Rockhampton, Flemington and Canterbury.

THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT ROCKHAMPTON!

Race 1 Rockhampton 3.57 Yarralinda (6/4)

Progressive filly who has won three of her last four and comes here chasing a hat-trick after impressing here earlier this month; experience should count for plenty in this line-up and she is taken to come out on top again.

The Aussie NAP was back to winning ways last night and we head to Rockhampton on Friday morning as we look to follow up. This looks a two-horse race between YARRALINDA and Kashkar and it’s the former that is readily preferred. She has won 3 of her 5 starts and 3 of her last 4. She is getting better all the time and has more experience than main market rival Kashkar. The latter did make a perfect start winning here earlier this month but I think she’ll need to take another big step forward to trouble this favourite. Hidden Joy has been running consistently with a win in there too but she found the selection too strong last time and has her work cutout to close the gap.

Race 4 Rockhampton 5.50 Absolut Artie (15/8)

Likeable type who has 10 wins from 23 starts; caught the eye on return beginning awkwardly but running on well for fourth; stepped forward from that to make all last time and despite the weight has another big chance.

We stick at Rockhampton for our second best bet Down Under on Friday morning and ABSOLUT ARTIE can take care of these. He is a really likeable grey who has already notched up 10 wins from just 23 starts. He will push forward early and look to be aggressive so should take some catching. Coral Bay ran on strongly for third last time and is definitely one of the dangers. Macho Tycoon wasn’t beaten far last time and is also worthy of consideration. He is exposed in comparison to the selection though so probably won’t have enough if the favourite runs his race. Similar comments apply to Little Hunter who will have to run the race of his life to win this.
