Naas 3.15 Pencilfulloflead (15/8)
Really impressed on chase debut beating subsequent Thyestes winner Coko Beach; backed that up slamming Latest Exhibition next start; no disgrace second to Colreevy latest; more to come and one to keep firmly on side.
I have to be honest I thought Naas was going to be off with the forecast but thankfully racing does go ahead and it was in fact Catterick we ended up losing due to a frozen track. I would have made PENCILFULLOFLEAD my NAP but for those concerns so have no fear he is an extremely strong selection. He caught my eye beating Latest Exhibition with considerable ease at Punchestown and looks a young chaser with a very bright future. He was in need of a stronger gallop when second to Colreevy at Limerick and I think he can get back to winning ways here. Eklat De Rire impressed at Punchestown and should go well but this is tougher up in grade. Stablemate Escaria Ten might be the bigger danger.

Wolverhampton 2.10 Liva (3/1)
Caught the eye on return when denied a clear run over C&D, not beaten far; outpaced back down in trip at Kempton last time; good reason to think he is going to run a big race back here and over this trip.
Another fairly big price for one of our best bets on Sunday as we head to Wolverhampton. LIVA was a big eye-catcher on return over track and trip and if he bounces back from a below par run back down in trip last time he will have a major chance here. He wasn’t disgraced last time but I know he’s better than that. He is on a fairly long losing run so that has to be taken into consideration but I think he’s in good enough form to win a race like this so he’s a confident selection to come out on top. Tanqeeb has won here before and ran well when third last time having been slowly away. Looks one of the main threats to the selection. G For Gabrial is also feared.
