THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT DONALD ON MONDAY!
Race 7 Donald 5.30 Fleurmosa (11/8)
Good looking mare who is improving with experience; built on some encouraging efforts to win at Ararat last time; extra weight now but strong sort who should push forward and take some catching; keep on side.
The Aussie NAP was back to winning ways overnight so hopefully we can kick off February with another winner. It’s a quiet night Down Under but FLEURMOSA catches the eye at Donald. This chestnut mare did it well last time and if she builds on that again she should follow up. It’s a race that lacks any real strength in depth and it’s hard to see what her main danger is really. Malauka has just 2 wins from 22 starts so he might threaten without going through with it. Closest in the betting but I wouldn’t be too fearful of him. Drop The Mic has placed both times fresh so could also run well but like the latter needs more for win purposes so the favourite is readily preferred.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT NEWCASTLE!
Race 2 Newcastle 3.25 Pirrama (2/1)
Likeable mare who has been coming to the boil in recent starts and there was a lot to like about her close second on return at Muswellbrook last time; in an ideal world she’ll have a good gallop to aim at.
We head to Newcastle overnight for our second best bet Down Under and PIRRAMA is taken to make the breakthrough for Christian Reith and Adam Duggan. This mare ran a cracker when beaten just a length by a solid yardstick at Muswellbrook and if she improves again she should get off the mark. She does take a while to get going though so a strong pace would help her go through the gears earlier. I’m not overly concerned though as I think she has the most potential of these and should cope with whatever scenario that plays out. Mon Amore can improve again and if she does she should give the selection a race at least. Rebel Rama needs to show a fair bit more to get involved.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Newcastle and Donald in the early hours of Monday morning.
