Race 6 Coffs Harbour 5.10 Parksville (11/10)

Progressive sort who comes here chasing a hat-trick after winning by a convincing margin at Ballina last month; more to come up in trip now and hard to oppose on what we’ve seen so far; one to keep on side.

The Aussie NAP is flying right now and we head into Saturday morning chasing FIVE IN A ROW! The hat-trick seeking PARKSVILLE looks the one to beat in Race 6 on the card. He is fast and has a low draw so should ping the lids and try to make all the running. He impressed last time and can improve again moving up to 1200m for the first time. He should make it 3 wins from his first 4 starts. Fantini is the closest in the betting but she has just 1 win from 6 starts so needs to find more to trouble the selection. Conditions should suit though so I can see her running her race. Chase My Crown was slowly away on return from 4 months off the track but ran well to finish third in a bunched finish.

Race 7 Doomben 6.12 Socialising (5/4)

Likeable mare who recorded her sixth career win here last month prevailing by a nose in a gutsy finish; 2 from 3 at this track now which is a big plus and looks the one to beat again with confidence high coming into this.

We head to Doomben on Saturday morning for our best bet Down Under and SOCIALISING can win again. She is now 6 from 19 and more importantly 2 from 3 here so makes plenty of appeal. She moves back up in trip and ticks plenty of boxes. Phantom Falcon is starting to look a bit exposed but his record over this trip bodes well despite being just 1 from 4 here he can run well. Grey Missile looks the each way value. He has 10 wins from 39 starts and has 5 wins over this trip. This track far from ideal but he should hit the frame and is a decent price to do so. Ashman faded badly last time and will need to do better than that to get involved here. Capable but has a few questions to answer right now.
