THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT GOULBURN!
Race 7 Goulburn 5.45 Art Cadeau (11/10)
Progressive sort who has won 2 of his last 3 and impressed at Randwick last time; looks a horse on the upgrade right now so no surprise to see him take care of these and go in again; one to keep safe.
The Aussie NAP landed again overnight so the run of winners continued! We’ve now had 6 WINNERS FROM OUR LAST 7 and we head to Goulburn overnight. ART CADEAU won gamely last time and he can go in again. Showed a good attitude that day and has what it takes to see this bunch off. In terms of a danger it’s probably Exotic Deel. She has won 4 of her 11 starts and while she couldn’t bring up the four-timer last time she had excuses so should at least give the favourite a race but at the same time I’ll be surprised if she’s good enough to beat the selection. Rothenburg looks best of the rest but has just 2 wins from 20 starts so while he could run well he’s vulnerable for win purposes.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT SCONE OVERNIGHT!
Race 4 Scone 4.05 Miss Kono (6/4)
Likeable filly who was fresh up for three months and justified favouritism to make the breakthrough at Newcastle on rain softened ground last month; can improve on that and unexposed so likely plenty more to come.
There was a lot to like about the way MISS KONO won on return. She pushed forward and led them a merry dance and a similar scenario could play out here. She has early gears and stays well so should have what it takes to follow up and make it 2 wins from 4 starts. She’s learning all the time so hopefully inexperience doesn’t get the better of her. Patino Ruby is a lively danger. She improved to win at Muswellbrook but hasn’t been seen for four months so might just need this on return. If she is fit enough to do herself justice then she should fight it out with the favourite but that fitness-edge just swayed it towards the selection for me. Sidewalk is best of the rest but along with Kallie they need more.
