Race 3 Morphettville 3.25 Master Of Zerprise (6/4)

Likeable type who looked to be making great strides landing back-to-back wins; excuses last time as began awkwardly and had a lot of ground to make up but another good effort; hard to oppose with more to come over this trip.

The Aussie NAP is flying! We landed another winning overnight so that is now 9 FROM OUR LAST 10! We head to Morphettville in the early hours of Friday morning (I might have to set the alarm) and MASTER OF ZERPRISE is fancied to extend our winning run. This horse is a likeable individual and he looks to have took a big step forward in recent starts. This is a good bit of placement again and I expect him to be hard to beat. Exalted Beast was only fifth last time but wasn’t beaten far and won the time before that so has to be respected in opposition. Challicum also needs to bounce back but would be a threat if doing so. Enough question marks over the opposition to make the fav a strong play.

Improving mare who impressed winning at Toowoomba last month, well on top at the finish; won 3 from 7 starts now so looking progressive; can get a good toe into this before proving too strong.

We head to Sunshine Coast on Friday morning for our second best bet Down Under and last time out winner READY BABE can fire again! She was a worthy winner last time and will strip even fitter now. This a bit tougher but she is a likeable sort who has scope to keep progressing. She has a win and a second over this trip so is largely unexposed. There looks to be good pace on with perhaps Blue Odyssey leading them. I can see the selection getting a nice toe into it before picking them off late. Granted usual luck in-running it’s hard to look past her. Contemptuous has 2 wins from 4 starts and dominated the opposition last time. She has to be feared but this does require another step up.
