AUSSIE NAP LANDED OVERNIGHT! Aussie tips were back and it was great to get our best bet in the bank. Racing overnight from Tamworth and Queanbeyan.

NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT TAMWORTH ON MONDAY!
Race 3 Tamworth 3.35 Ceasefire (15/8)
Well related sort who is making his racecourse debut here but won his trial at Muswellbrook by an impressive 4 lengths; evidently well regarded and interesting to see how good he could be; low draw also a plus.
With plenty of horses scratched from this now it is looking more and more like a decent opportunity for the unraced CEASEFIRE to make the perfect start. He won his trial by 4 lengths and really impressed on that occasion. He has plenty of potential and it will be interesting if he can transfer that into a competitive race now. The money has been relentless and he should go off a warm order come post time. The low draw also helps his cause and I can’t see past him on a quest night Down Under. Quan has experience but is no great shakes. Running In Circles also makes her debut and having placed in a trial she could be the one to give the favourite most to think about.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT QUEANBEYAN!
Race 3 Queanbeyan 3.55 Mohican (15/8)
Useful type who looks the one to beat on exposed form; 4 wins from 47 starts but plenty of placed efforts (7 seconds and 4 thirds) and this small field scenario looks ideal; appeals as the most likely winner.
Slim pickings overnight but MOHICAN is fancied to take care of a moderate bunch in Race 3 on the card. He wasn’t at his best last time but that looks a good race and he went off at 14/1 and was only beaten three and a half lengths. Back in much easier company over his optimum trip he can take advantage. Club Legend is favourite but he was massively disappointing last time beaten a long way and he is going to need to put that behind him to win this. I think he’s too short and might even be worth a lay. Lunar Rain is also tough to make a case for. Old Man’s Angel may emerge as the biggest danger but it’s hard to be confident. The selection should ping the lids and lead. Hopefully makes all.
