THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) IS ON A DOUBLE! IT RUNS AT MACKAY ON TUESDAY!
Race 5 Mackay 7.10 Lepreezy (1/1)
Progressive mare who has really turned a corner since returning winning both starts at Rockhampton; showed a great attitude to win by a nose on return and then followed up by a head last time; 3/3 at this track and will look to make all.
It’s hard to pick holes in LEPREEZY for Angela and Michael Stephens. This mare is getting better with every run and impressed again last time. She is back up in trip but has a great draw and is 3-3 at this track so has plenty going for her. If all goes to plan she should win again. Such A Whit has 6 wins from 16 starts and is a likeable type. 5 of his 6 wins have come at this track so he has to be respected and is without doubt the main danger. If you wanted some insurance it might be worth covering the reverse forecast but the fav should be hard to peg back. Fratellino also brings winning form to the table but is exposed compared to the front two so while he is best of the rest he needs more to win this.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT MORNINGTON!
Race 7 Mornington 6.30 Sodbuster (5/4)
Improving filly who stepped forward a chunk to make the breakthrough at Kilmore earlier this month; really impressed on that occasion lengthening away stylishly; should be fitter again and looks a good bet to follow up.
In a race lacking strength in depth SODBUSTER is a strong fancy to follow up that 8-length maiden romp. She really impressed on that occasion and with scope to keep progressing she is fancied to go in again. The only conceivable dangers for me are Vinnie Rose and The Sisters. The latter has just 1 win from 15 starts and while some of her form is very solid she has to be vulnerable for win purposes. Vinni Rose made the breakthrough at Pakenham so might be the one to give the favourite most to think about. Any Given Bender has won 2 of his last 3 but he is coming up against some potential improvers so might struggle to go in again. Hard to recommend anything else at bigger prices.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Mornington and Mackay in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
