THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT GRAFTON!
Race 5 Grafton 6.40 Canexcell (6/5)
Useful type who capped off last campaign with a win and returned with a very encouraging effort when third at Eagle Farm; can strip fitter now and looks well placed to get himself back in the winners enclosure.
Great to have the DD back to winning ways overnight. Slim pickings on Tuesday with just the 3 meetings but CANEXCELL catches the eye at Grafton. He is definitely capable of better yet and his form is already stacking up. If he strips fitter for that first run back from 5 months he will take a lot of beating here. Moonhawk has just 2 wins from 17 starts so is exposed in comparison to the fav but he will pick up the pieces if the selection fails to fire. Otherwise looks best of the rest. Toots Is Tops is also entitled to be thereabouts on what she’s achieved so far. 0/2 over this trip though slightly off-putting. Electric Miss is entitled to need this but if fit would be a big threat.

Race 1 Bendigo 4.30 Glamdam (6/4)
Likeable filly who was slowly away when third at Pakenham last time; excuses before that and on her peak form she would be the one they all have to beat; this looks winnable so should have every chance.
Wisaka is a short priced fav here for Michael Moroney and Brett Prebble but I think he’s beatable and GLAMDAM catches the eye. She has had excuses lately but has still been running well so with a quick break and usual luck in-running she is going to run big I think. Wisaka is obviously a danger given the potential he brings to the table. River Tycoon has had just 3 starts so lacks experience but he could improve and have a say. Hard to see anything else getting involved in a rack lacking strength in depth. Ameripark ran well when second last time but needs more and hard to know where it’s going to come from. Singing Duke, Surely Shirley and Lackers all look up against it to me.
