Good looking filly by Mastercraftsman who improved again to strike over C&D last month, nicely on top late on and going away at the finish; 5lb rise doesn’t look enough to stop her going in again; one to keep on side.
What a brilliant weekend for GYTO followers as My Drogo landed the NAP on Saturday and then Bolshoi Ballet stamped his class on a good field at Leopardstown catapulting himself in the Epsom Derby picture. He looks a very promising colt! We are chasing a NAP FOUR-TIMER now and we head to Wolverhampton tonight. ARTISAN BLEU had been catching the eye for a while before making the breakthrough over track and trip last time. She won going away and looks progressive now. Granted it’s low level stuff but I fully expect her to go in again here. Beija Flor is the obvious danger on recent form but she often finds one too good. Tokyo Chic would need to improve again to have a say here.

Windsor 4.40 Sycamore (11/4)
Promising sort who needed the experience on debut at Salisbury; stepped forward to finish runner-up next time and drop back in trip against him when midfield at Leicester; type to do better stepping up to a mile for the first time; very good chance.
Glasvegas is chasing a hat-trick and has to be feared but he doesn’t really set much of a standard in my view and with one or two others prominent in the market coming here with a bit to prove I think it’s worth chancing SYCAMORE here. This son of Kingman has always been thought of as pretty useful by his trainer Martyn Meade and I get the impression he’s going to be a horse that makes up for lost time this season. He showed promise without really threatening last season but up to a mile now I think we’ll see much more the finished article. A mark of 72 should be well within reach and I can see him being a warm order come post time. Heaven Forfend could end up being the danger.
