US NAP LANDED LAST NIGHT! Racing on Friday night from Tampa Bay Downs, Keeneland and Gulfstream. The Daily Double pays 9/2!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT GULFSTREAM ON FRIDAY!
Race 6 Gulfstream 8.46 Pillar Mountain (1/1)
Shaped as though he needed the run when fifth on return here in February; improved to get his head in front convincingly in a better race than this last time; knows where the winning post is and can go in again.
With the original NAP a non runner last time we promoted the NB to our best bet and it won at 2/1! Hopefully we can make it back-to-back winners on Friday night. Irish raider PILLAR MOUNTAIN can win again. This horse came on plenty for his return to win well last time and given he is likely to build on that he’s tough to get away from here. This looks easier if anything so I think he’ll be popular in the betting come post time. Go Poke The Bear was third to the selection last time and is probably one of the main dangers but I’ll be surprised if he manages to reverse that form. Basha is also held on that form line but should run his race again. All in all great opportunity for the favourite to win again.

THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT KEENELAND TONIGHT!
Race 4 Keeneland 7.45 Hollywood Gina (13/8)
Promising filly who powered home impressively to win by over 9 lengths at Aqueduct when last seen in February; can keep improving after just 2 runs and should be hard to peg back especially if she looks to dominate again.
This looks a good race but the one with the most potential could easily be HOLLYWOOD GINA. This filly hacked up at Aqueduct last time and if she improves on that she should have too many gears for these. She really lengthened away smartly in the closing stages and looks a horse going places. Signify looked a potentially smart filly winning by 8 lengths on penultimate start but that was on a synthetic surface and she failed to back it up in a better race last time. She needs more but would be a threat if getting back to the form of that penultimate run. Sweet Queen Bee brings winning form to the table and is also feared if she can improve again.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Keeneland and Gulfstream on Friday night.
