NAP – Best selection of the evening
Doncaster 6.30 Law Of One (10/11)
Galileo colt who built on a really encouraging effort at Kempton to win impressively at Wolverhampton when last seen striding home having travelled best; mark underestimates him so should be too good for these.
This is all about LAW OF ONE for Sir Michael Stoute. This colt by Galileo looks to have a bright future and is well handicapped off a mark of just 82. He thrashed Galahad Threepwood by 6 lengths when last seen in October and that horse is now rated 88. He should continue to improve with age and experience and is expected to be a warm order here. A Star Above is also well bred being by Sea The Stars and he looks the most obvious danger if fit enough to do himself justice on return. Sweet Celebration was a good fourth at Wolverhampton last time and has fitness on side but this requires a fair bit more from her and she is hard to fancy for win purposes. Byron Hill and Squelch have it all to do.
Leicester 2.45 Dancing King (7/4)
Likeable sort who looks on a steep upward curve now having won his last two; particularly impressive on return and backed that up off a 6lb higher mark justifying favouritism at Kempton last time; up 8b but more to come on turf.
I think this will be a match between DANCING KING and Liverpool Knight and strictly on the clock the former should take all the beating. He looks thoroughly progressive and was visually impressive again last time. He should keep improving now switched to turf and even under an 8lb rise I think he’s the one to beat with his yard thriving. He beat a good horse in Side Shot last time and the form looks very solid. Liverpool Knight obviously also brings potential to the table but he will need to take another big step forward to come out on top and I just think he might be better for the run. Cosmic George won at Wolverhampton but a 14lb rise seems a bit ridiculous to me. Duke Of Verona outclassed.
