BUSY NIGHT STATESIDE! Racing on Thursday from Belterra Park, Gulfstream, Thistledown, Belmont Park, Golden Gate Fields and Churchill Downs.

NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT THISTLEDOWN ON THURSDAY NIGHT!

Race 2 Thistledown 6.20 Tico Thunder (11/10)

Smart type who has won 3 of his last 4 and impressed last time galloping rivals into submission; this looks easier if anything so hard to oppose under likely aggressive tactics again; obvious chance.

We head to Thistledown tonight for our best bet Stateside and TICO THUNDER looks the one to be on. He has won 4 of his last 6 and 3 of his last 4 so couldn’t really be in better form. He broke sharply last time and was always dictating, nicely on top at the line. A similar scenario could pan out tonight and if it does he should have too much for these. Even Keeled was second to the selection on penultimate start and again filled that position last time. Consistent and might be the one to chase him home again. Coincidentally is quite a big price and didn’t run too badly when third last time so may fare best of the rest. West Leonard brings winning form but this requires another step up.

Race 4 Golden Gate 11.10 Love My Jimmy (7/4)

Progressive individual who has won 2 of his last 3; stumbled and was bumped at the start last time but quickly recovered and got on the front before running out an impressive winner; looks one to keep firmly on side.

With the promise of more to come LOVE MY JIMMY should take a lot of beating at Golden Gate on Thursday night. This horse is improving fast and has won 2 of his last 3 now with arguably his most impressive display at Santa Anita last time. He is likely to be ridden forward again here and he should take a lot of catching. Lightinthedarkness lacks experience after just two runs but he does look promising so he is feared most. I’ll be surprised if he has the early speed to go with the fav though. Edinburgh Express improved to win over 6f here last time and is respected on that performance but again I think the selection has the greater potential. Big Duke needs to bounce back as was poor last time.
