Race 7 Goulburn 7.35 Caesars Palace (4/5)
Improving sort who was denied less than a length when second here last month; knocking on the door now and this looks a great opportunity on paper for him to belatedly make the breakthrough.
With this race cutting up quite badly I’m expecting CAESARS PALACE to take all the beating. I know he is winless from 7 attempts but that run last time was very good on the figures and if he reproduces that here he should finally open his account. Not too much in the shape of opposition but Deep Encounter is probably the best of them. He has only had 2 starts so is unexposed but did hang under pressure last time so I can’t see him improving enough to trouble the fav who sets a high standard in the context of this race. Social Distancing should do better at some point but she didn’t really take a step forward last time when expected to so it might just be a place at best again.

Race 6 Sunshine Coast 6.44 She’s An Eagle (5/4)
Well bred filly who has shown definite promise in 4 starts to date placing on 3 of those; scope to improve and if she does she looks primed to open her account; looks to have a class edge on this bunch; most likely winner.
We head to Sunshine Coast in the early hours of Sunday morning and SHE’S AN EAGLE looks ready to win. She almost certainly has the most potential of this field going forward and she hasn’t done much wrong to date. She mixed it with all the right horses last time and with usual improvement can go a couple better here. Brut Gold has been running to a consistent level and he will be a danger if the selection fails to fire. Warrior Hero is well related too and should do better at some point but he was disappointing last time so while this is easier he has enough to prove off the back of that. Jakkalberry Finn makes his debut but will need to be plenty forward to get involved here.
